Description
Professionally maintained and extensively upgraded, Parcharita is a 2022 Aquila 44 owner's version that has benefited from continuous care and significant recent investment. Featuring the desirable three-cabin, three-head layout, she combines the comfort of a spacious cruising platform with the reliability and efficiency of twin Volvo D4-320 diesel engines.
Over the past year, Parcharita has undergone an impressive list of mechanical servicing and equipment upgrades, including completion of the Volvo 1,000-hour engine service, generator maintenance, replacement batteries, updated electronics, and numerous system improvements that reduce future maintenance requirements and enhance reliability.
Designed for extended cruising, she is equipped with a Spectra watermaker, Starlink internet, Raymarine navigation electronics with radar, a well-appointed galley, generous salon, and spacious outdoor entertaining areas. The owner's layout provides a private full-beam master suite along with two comfortable guest cabins, making the boat equally well suited for family cruising or entertaining aboard.
A standout feature is the premium 12-foot GRAND Golden Line G380 center console tender powered by a 40 HP Suzuki outboard, providing exceptional performance, comfort, and capability well beyond the typical tender package found with many vessels in this class.
Located at Nanny Cay in Tortola, British Virgin Islands, Parcharita presents an outstanding opportunity to acquire a late-model Aquila 44 that has been professionally maintained, thoughtfully upgraded, and prepared for her next owners to begin cruising with confidence.

Owners’ Comments and Boat History
Parcharita was originally delivered into the MarineMax charter fleet, where she was professionally maintained in accordance with the fleet’s maintenance program. She left the fleet just over a year ago and has since been privately owned and comprehensively upgraded to a standard well beyond her original charter specification.
Since entering private ownership, the vessel has been subject to an ongoing maintenance and refurbishment programme carried out by qualified technicians under the direction of an accredited marine surveyor. The program has focused on reliability, preventative maintenance and practical cruising improvements rather than cosmetic upgrades alone.
During this period, the engines and generator received their scheduled services, a new battery bank was installed, the anchor chain was replaced and numerous inventory items were renewed or upgraded.
Several enhancements have also been completed to improve the vessel’s capability and comfort. The tender-crane foundation was structurally reinforced to accommodate a substantially larger centre-console tender. Starlink satellite internet and radar were installed, a television was added to the master cabin, a portable electric cooler was added to the flybridge and the cockpit upholstery was replaced.
The vessel has proven herself during regular cruising beyond the local area, completing passages between the British Virgin Islands, Vieques and Anguilla. These extended trips have demonstrated her reliability and suitability as a genuine cruising platform rather than a vessel used exclusively for short charter operations.
Parcharita represents an Aquila 44 that has benefited from the extensive maintenance associated with a professional fleet, followed by a significant program of private investment and continuous improvement. She is presented as a thoughtfully upgraded, carefully maintained and cruise-ready yacht.
