WALK_THROUGH
When boarding this yacht from the stern there is a molded in swim platform with teak decking and a walk-through transom created by a removeable stern seat. This provides easy access for boarding from a floating dock, a dinghy or going for an afternoon swim with a fold down stainless-steel swim ladder to the starboard side of the platform. Launching and carrying the dingy is made easy with the assistance of a set of Kato davits along with a pair of guide rails which add additional support, a slide for the dingy and great hand hold when on the swim platform. Port side is located outboard motor lift and motor bracket.
Once in the spacious cockpit you will notice there is ample seating for 6 to 8 people to sit comfortably. The seat backs are both high and angled, aiding in comfort as well as a set of beautiful custom cockpit cushions. In addition to the standard seating are the optional stern rail seats. Storage is provided by several large cockpit lockers as well as a separate propane locker able to hold two tanks. The helm has a single large destroyer wheel, pedestal mounted compass and B&G touch screen plotter/radar. Forward of the pedestal is a double drop leaf fiberglass cockpit table (Included 2 option wood table leaves in storage bag) with storage in the center and a one-piece cover for the wheel, pedestal and table. Weather protection is provided by a full width bimini and dodger with connecting panel. A full cockpit encloser completes full year-round protection.
Moving forward from the cockpit you will find wide uncluttered side decks, full double lifelines with boarding gates both port and starboard in the aft quarter and a forward gate on the starboard side.
Access to the deck below is made easy with a hinged companionway door. As you descend you will note the ease of which doing so due to the wide rubber covered treads and a more stairs like angle as well as good top to bottom hand holds. Now below you are greeted by a beautiful, spacious saloon / galley / nav station.
Directly to starboard is a large well-designed galley. It is an elongated U-shaped alleyway design providing the user both access to the salon and companionway but conveniently tucked back out of the way and well protected when underway. For cold storage you have both a top load and front load refrigerator / freezer. Cooking is provided with a 3-burner Force-10 stainless steel stove and oven with broiler as well as a microwave for those quick warm-ups. For clean up there is a large double bowl stainless steel sink and keeping everything on the counter is a high continuous wood fiddle that surrounding the entire counter area.
To port is the nav station. This space has lift up top chart table with storage with-in and a curved top wood seat that provides more storage. The cabinet above provides space for electronics, stereo and the 12 volt breaker panel.
Just behind the nav station is the day head. This space has dual doors providing access from the aft cabin as well as the main salon. This space is mainly made up of molded white fiberglass providing a bright, spacious feeling as well as making for easy cleaning. There is a molded counter with sink with a pull-out faucet that doubles for the shower and a manual Jabsco toilet.
Passing through the aft door in the head you enter the aft cabin. This cabin contains huge berth with cabinetry on the outboard side providing storage. The second door in the cabin leads you back out in the salon area.
Facing forward you are now looking at the full beam salon. To port is a straight settee and to starboard is the large dinette. This has a large table with a curved U-shaped settee and on the isle side of the table is a short bench providing seating on all sides. Behind the seating are more beautifully finished cabinetry providing plenty of storage. On the forward most bulkhead is a large TV with visibility from all seating as well as the galley.
Lastly, moving forward we enter the owner’s stateroom. This is a beautiful cabin with the centerpiece being a large centerline berth. This is not just any berth, with its beautifully curved foot end raised just enough to provide for two large draws beneath and seating on both sides. There is both open shelving that runs the length of the berth and hanging and more shelved storage at the foot end of the berth. Completing this space is the ensuite head. A key feature of this head is its separate fiberglass stall shower enclosed by a frosted glass door. It is completed by a marine toilet, vanity mirror, sink and its own dedicated overhead opening hatch for ventilation
This is not just another Beneteau 423, looking closely at the photos (which were just taken) you can see the care that these owners have taken in making her one of the best and cleanest 423 on the market today. The woodwork through-out this boat is flawless.

Welcome to my little part of the marine industry. Let’s see how I may be of help to you. My name is John Heffner (Jack) and I have been in the marine industry full time since 1984 when I moved to Rock Hall, Maryland, to work for Gratitude Yachting Center. I entered the boating industry after leaving a career with a consulting engineering firm in Pennsylvania designing HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial structures. I joined the staff at Gratitude Yachting Center working as a rigger and systems installer for 10 years. I became a partner and have worked in most aspects of the business from installer, service manager, sales of both new and used boats, and the liaison with several of the boat manufactures that we sold to include the following US builders; Island Packet, Eastern Boats and Ranger Tugs and European builders to include Nauticat, Moody, Menorquin and Kirie also known as Feeling. For the past 41 years, I have been around and understand the characteristics and construction of many types of boats and have worked with builders of boats from United States, England, Finland, France, and Spain.
I feel my strongest asset to my customers is my ability to understand their wants and needs, and an ability to help them get the boat that they are looking for, while making it a fun experience. I am a very hands-on broker and like to be involved with my customers to be certain he or she is satisfied with their purchase.
When I came on board with S & J Yachts I expanded my boating career with new boat lines and with both new and previous customers.
Whether you are looking to sell your current boat or buy a boat (either power, sail, new or previously owned, I would welcome the opportunity to help you!
