DETAILS
This is a very well maintained 2005 Four Winns Vista 268 powered by a Volvo Penta 5.7L V8 with
only 433 hours.
A good-looking boat, the Four Winns 268 Vista manages to retain a relatively handsome profile in spite of the high freeboard required by boats of this type for interior headroom. This is a competitively priced family cruiser with an attractive midcabin interior and a comfortable cockpit. Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull, the 268 is trailerable thanks to her narrow 8'6" beam, but with a combined boat and trailer weight of over 8,000 pounds, a heavy-duty tow vehicle will be required for any trailering adventures. The cockpit of the 268 has more seating than many 26-footers thanks to a huge U-shaped aft settee that converts into a big sun lounge. Visibility from the helm is very good, and a walk-through windshield with molded steps next to the helm provides easy access to the foredeck. The interior, which is very well finished, comes with a V-berth, a full galley, dinette table and a head with shower. Additional features include an extended swim platform, transom door, foredeck sun pads and a transom storage compartment. Among several engine options, a single 300 Volvo Penta hp 5.7-liter I/O will cruise at 28-30 knots and reach a top speed of around 38 knots.

Mad dogs and Englishmen…….well it’s not always out in the midday sun, but whatever the weather, Larry will be there helping buyers and sellers with their boats. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these brokers from helping boat buyers and sellers regardless of the weather. Larry says “We are all available 7 days a week 12 months of the year, and while many feel the cold New England weather keeps buyers and sellers out of the market, we are always busy”. Larry is one of the company founders and hails from Rhode Island, even though his roots are thousands of miles away in Merry Olde England.
Larry has sailed across the Atlantic from South to North (Las Palmas to Southampton surviving 100' seas and 100 mph winds), From Southampton into the Mediterranean, the French and Spanish Coast, across the Atlantic from East to West (Monaco to New York), and the East Coast of the USA (Maine to Miami) multiple times, as well as racing a variety of sailboats in the CT and RI area.
