Description
AGGRESSIVELY PRICED – MAJOR MECHANICAL SERVICE JUST COMPLETED - “Yachtsey” is an all fresh water, less than 500 HOUR Boat and she can be easily viewed in Michigan City.
This 1997 Sea Ray 330 Sundancer represents an opportunity for a buyer looking for a solid, well-powered express cruiser without paying a premium for cosmetic perfection.
The big story here is the mechanical investment. More than $7,000 was recently spent with Lambert Certified Marine, including extensive service to both Bravo III stern drives. Both drives were removed and serviced with new bellows, sealed gimbal bearings, trim sender/limit switch kits and anodes. Engine alignment was checked, sea-water pumps serviced, engine oil and filters changed, and the drives were refinished where needed. Following the work, the boat completed a 45-minute Lake Michigan test run with both engines operating up to full spec. .
The hull is in great condition and was recently professionally compounded, polished and waxed. A brand-new custom cockpit tonneau cover was also installed.
The boat is being priced aggressively to reflect that it does not currently have a full canvas enclosure and the existing Bimini top is showing its age. Rather than representing the boat as cosmetically perfect, the asking price takes these items into consideration.
For a buyer who puts mechanical condition, a good hull and documented recent service ahead of older canvas, this 330 Sundancer deserves serious consideration.
