A lifelong Rhode Island boater and the son of a boat builder, Nate has been involved in the marine industry since childhood. Over the course of his career, he has worked his way through boatyard and dock operations, maintenance and repair, yacht service, vessel operations, project management, yacht management, and marine insurance. His experience includes leading service operations for a premier yacht manufacturer, managing complex refit and maintenance programs, captaining vessels, and advising marine businesses and yacht owners on risk and insurance.

That broad background gives Nate a unique understanding of what it takes to own, maintain, operate, buy, and sell a yacht. More importantly, it allows him to approach brokerage from the owner's perspective.

Nate comments – “I’ve spent my entire career around boats and the people who own them. I’ve had the opportunity to work on boats, manage them, captain them, maintain them, and help owners navigate some of the more complicated aspects of ownership. Brokerage is a natural extension of that experience. Based in Little Compton, Rhode Island, Nate has strong ties throughout Newport and Nantucket and will serve clients throughout New England and beyond, including Florida. His local knowledge, industry relationships, technical background, and lifelong connection to boating provide Latitude clients with a valuable resource throughout the buying and selling process.
