Captain Jeff Shoults grew up fishing in Destin, Fl starting his fishing career and his love of boats at the early age of twelve. After college, Jeff spent several years fishing the billfish circuit from Mexico to Australia, catching everything from Sailfish to 1000lb Black Marlin. In 1988, he settled back to Destin to continue his fishing career, marry his wife Dawn and have two wonderful children. In 1990, Jeff started working for Tractor & Equipment Co., running their 58' G&S, the "Mollie".
In 2006 Capt. Jeff with G&S boats started designing and building the new "66 Mollie", which took two years to finish because of the articulate design. Fishing an average of 100 days a year in the Gulf for TEC aboard the "Mollie", the Capt. knows what it takes to have a perfect fishing platform. In 2019, Jeff oversaw the 60' Blackwell the "Misa" custom remodel to accommodate what the owner wanted from his boat.
Captain Jeff has developed extensive knowledge of what it takes to be successful on the Gulf coast after 32 years with over 4 million in winnings. Jeff won the 2017 Gulf Coast Triple Crown, bringing the Honor home to the State of Florida for the first time! In 2020, Jeff was "Captain of the Year" by In the Bite Magazine, winning the Memorial Day Tourn. (Catch and Release and Largest Marlin) the Emerald Coast Billfish Classic (Largest Marlin, 3rd place Catch and Release), and the MBGFC Labor Day (Catch and Release). He's now with the Galati Team to help you find your perfect platform.
"With my 4o years of experience, and extensive knowledge of fishing, entertaining, engineering, electronics and the building process of yachts, I am ready to help you find the sportfish or yacht of your dreams. Whether it's a tournament winner, catching a red snapper for your grandchild, or watching the sunset on crab island, I can help find the right boat for you."
